At Centennial Regional High School, parents and guardians play an important role in creating opportunities and enriching the high school experience for our students.​

The CRHS Parent Participation Organization (PPO) brings families together to support students, strengthen our school community, and help fund initiatives that make a meaningful difference.

What Does the PPO Support?

Thanks to the generosity and involvement of our school community, funds raised by the PPO help support meaningful initiatives throughout the year, including:

Student recognition and achievement: Graduation scholarships and academic awards

Student life and activities: Sports, clubs, and other student activities

Learning support: Student resources, materials, and other school initiatives

Community appreciation: Staff appreciation and school community events​​​​​​​​​

How Do We Raise Funds?

The PPO organizes a variety of fundraisers and community events throughout the year. These may include:

· FundScrip

· Wine Basket Raffle

· CRHS Annual Craft Fair

· Montreal Canadiens hockey tickets

· Super Recycleurs

· Pixel Party Arcade Raffle

· And other exciting fundraising initiatives throughout the year

We also help organize and support special events such as the Academic Awards Reception and Staff Appreciation.

You Can Get Involved—Whatever Your Schedule

You don't need to have lots of free time to make a difference!

The PPO meets one evening per month (hybrid) to discuss upcoming events, fundraising initiatives, and ways to support our students.

If you are busy but would still like to contribute, you can join our PPO Volunteer List. We'll reach out when volunteers are needed for specific events and activities. You can choose the opportunities that work best for you.

If you do not have the time and want to contribute monetarily – you can through SSEF – South Shore Education Fund. South Shore Educational Foundation - Riverside School Board Select your amount, then the school = Centennial and indicate the particular fund you would like to donate to at your chosen school or centre = CRHS PPO

Have a business and want to contribute a specific item? No problem!

Whether you can volunteer regularly or only occasionally, every contribution matters.

Want to support the PPO without adding another fundraiser to your schedule?

Our first meeting is expected to take place in early October, pending approval of the PPO committee through the Governing Board vote at the 2026 General Assembly on Thursday, September 10th at 7pm at CRHS.

The PPO is more than fundraising. It's about parents, guardians, staff, and the school community working together to create meaningful opportunities for our students.
